                                ABOUT THIS POEM:

I will come right out and say that the

inspiration of this poem came from the failure of

my first (And only so far) marriage. We did not have

good communication and it helped to end our marriage.

(There is another BIG reason why it ended too, which we

will not go into here). As I look back on the mistakes

that were made, the lack of good talking to each other

was a key. So I wanted to use this poem as a lesson

for ALL of us, telling all to talk to the one you love

with respect and with love.

My love....can we please talk?

For I want to know what's on your mind

What's in your heart

And the depths of your soul

Your highest dreams

Your secret fantasies

Your deepest fears

Your biggest laughs

I would like to know these

And in return, I will tell you the same

Also, it's not what we say, but how we say it

So may we always have....

Open talk

Honest talk

Respectful talk

Two way talk

Honey, I love you so much

And I am in love with you so much

Is it wrong to want to know your feelings

About life....and about us?

For what happens to you happens to me too

When you hurt and are in pain

So am I

When you are happy and laughing

So am I

Entwined we are in life and in love

Together forever is our destiny

Closer than close we draw to each other

 When we talk
