ABOUT THIS POEM:

This poem is about those not so serious moments

in love. Those light hearted times in which we all

need when in love. Our everyday lives tend to make

us all tense and stressed out, so we take out these

emotions on the one we adore. Therefore, we all

must learn to lighten up and "play in love".

Oh lover,

That joke was so funny

Thanks so much for sharing it with me

I love to see your face light up

I love to hear you laugh

This tells me that we can still have fun together

Let us not let the responsibilities of adulthood

Take away our childlike nature

For the kids we once were we can become again

I love to have fun with you

Whatever that may be

Watching our favorite comedy on TV

Going out to a movie

Let's play a game of pool together

Bowling anyone?

How about miniature golf, my love?

"Awww, you missed a 3 foot putt"

I say in mock sorrow/smile

A game of cards? A board game? A puzzle?

Crazy dancing to our favorite song

Tickling....teasing......touching

Let's see the world together

Let's share this play world together

Let's delight in those light hearted moments

For they will draw us even closer
