                                           APPLE PIE LOVE

               ABOUT THIS POEM:

This is one of those goofy little poems that may

leave a smile on your face. While cooking dinner

in the kitchen one day, me and a girlfriend got a

little frisky, and…well… just read on and find out.

Making chili with you, one late afternoon

As the radio plays smooth jazz tunes

Laughing, joking, teasing, just having fun

Knowing in my heart that you are the one

The one I want to love, forevermore

The one I want to forever adore

" Honey, please out the pie in the oven

And then come over here and give me some lovin' "

Into the refrigerator rushes I

And I take out an apple pie

Out of the box and into the stove so fast

And turn it on to start the heat blast

I then turn to you and see that look in your eye

No words need to be spoken for we both know why

In the middle of the kitchen we start to kiss

Suddenly the phone rings..." WHO IS THIS??? "

A friend  with a problem crashes the mood

Thirty minutes later, the house smells of food

And as the smell of the pie fills the house

I playfully try to take off your blouse

You whisper " Wait till' I get off the phone "

So sexy you are, I just can't leave you alone

Finally you finish the interrupting call

And we waste no more time, as clothes now fall

We follow the clothes down to the floor

As the fire of desire now turns to a roar

The house smells of apple pie so sweet

Passion adds something new to this exciting treat

The aroma of the pie hot and baking

Adds something new to the love we are making

And as ecstasies have reached their highest peak

We lay on the floor, for strength is now weak

Catching our breath on the floor of the kitchen

This was fantastic...magical...truly bewitching

Then the timer on the stove starts to buzz

Bringing us out of our apple pie love.
